Our company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning, general repairs, plumbing, light electrical, HVAC, painting, and unit turnovers. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are in excellent condition and meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all properties
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning restrooms
  • Carry out general repairs, such as fixing doors, windows, and cabinets
  • Address plumbing issues, such as leaks and clogs
  • Troubleshoot and repair light electrical problems, such as faulty switches and outlets
  • Maintain HVAC systems, including cleaning filters and performing routine maintenance
  • Perform painting tasks, such as touch-ups and full unit turnovers
  • Oversee unit turnovers, ensuring that they are completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Manage maintenance staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning, general repairs, plumbing, light electrical, HVAC, painting, and unit turnovers
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
