Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in science and engineering on behalf of national security. The Predictive Maintenance Program at LANL is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Engineer to oversee the program and provide PdM technologies to customers throughout the laboratory.
The successful candidate will provide guidance to teams that wish to establish a PdM program in their facility, providing training to PdM technicians, engineers and managers. You will also provide troubleshooting assistance through the use of PdM technologies. Currently, LANL makes limited use of PdM technologies and is looking to expand their use in this area to improve reliability and increase maintenance efficiency, and you will lead the effort. This will include working with facility and industrial-type equipment, as well as occasional work with specialized experimental equipment.
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances.
