This is a ground floor opportunity for the right person who wants to grow with a plant startup.  Ultimately, AAC East will support 35 employees.

Summary: The Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading maintenance excellence in the plant. Specifically, leading efforts in PM, Operator Care, Planning and Scheduling, CMMS, Root Cause Analysis, Critical Spare Parts and other areas. Other responsibilities are managing projects, schedules, and working and communicating with various teams to ensure maintenance standards are well understood, communicated, and implemented. Oversight of mechanical and electrical maintenance team.

Education and Experience: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred; an Associate Degree in Engineering is required. Five or more years of experience is preferred. CMRP is a plus.

Specific Duties:

  • Work safely and promote safety in all aspects of employment.
  • Lead efforts to implement maintenance excellence.
  • Responsible for design of standardized PM’s and PM process for automated equipment.
  • Facilitate implementation of Lubrication activities.
  • Train and promote use of CMMS.
  • Promote a zero-loss mentality with reactive maintenance and lead FMA and root cause analyses.
  • Teach and mentor maintenance planning and scheduling teams.
  • Train and mentor other maintenance and operation teams.
  • Must be familiar with automation, PLC’s, AC/DC Drives, Safety PLC’s, and Servo’s.
  • Contribute ideas for product development, process improvement, and equipment development that will improve safety or competitive advantage.
  • Maintain and improve computer skills and software knowledge.
  • Continually develops technical knowledge in reliability engineering field.
  • Perform related duties as assigned
