Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventative maintenance.
- Inspect and evaluate physical plant, grounds, and related equipment.
- Schedule, supervise and perform maintenance repair work throughout property
- Ensuring all plant equipment and machines are operating and maintained according to manufacturer specifications and safety requirements
- Ensure the building is functioning correctly and in good repair including but not limited to HVAC, electrical systems, sprinkler system, plumbing and forklifts.
- Prepare requisition for and manage all related maintenance supplies and plant equipment repair parts for all equipment in facility
- Coordinate with outside contractors to perform activities, repairs, preventive maintenance on building equipment, and building and grounds appearance.
- Punch Press Machine Repair and Maintenance
- Regular predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in facilities maintenance and machine repair or equivalent related functions
· Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
· Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
· Well developed skills in troubleshooting electrical issues preventing machinery and equipment from operating properly
· Basic understanding and troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry
· Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
· Quality focused

On February 21st, 1866 Christian Henry Hanson founded C.H. Hanson, basing it off the stencil business he knew in Denmark. The first location was on Clark and South Water Street in Chicago, where he began producing hand-cut stencils. Christian also volunteered at the Denmark Consulate. He became the Danish Consul in Chicago in 1866, assisting the Danish immigrants in the surrounding areas. There, and at his own company, he led with kindness, generosity, and courage. The King of Denmark even recognized Christian Hanson for his work helping Danish immigrants.
Six years after the business began; the Great Chicago Fire destroyed almost all of his work. After his building burned down, with just the clothes on his back and a handful of stencil dies, he vowed to rebuild everything.
Throughout the years, the company remains true to its past while reinventing themselves for the future. C.H. Hanson has produced everything from license plates to barricade tape, hand tools to marking devices. Today, the C.H.
