This Reliability & Maintenance Engineering Supervisor role is responsible for leading and directing Central Arizona Project’s (CAP's) Reliability and Maintenance Engineering’s Electrical & Controls team. You would supervise a team consisting of Reliability and Maintenance Engineers in either the Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls disciplines of varying levels of experience in designing, monitoring, and refining of Equipment Maintenance Plans (EMP) for large water conveyance and hydroelectric assets. Provide oversight in design, maintenance, overhaul and repair methods and condition assessment techniques including NETA electrical testing, thermography, dissolved gas analysis, static and dynamic motor analysis, insulation electrical testing, and partial discharge. Guide the development of procedures, maintenance task plans and operating procedures. Work closely with maintenance planning, work execution, and the Maintenance Control manager to identify CAP maintenance activities that improve maintenance efficiency in a manner that eliminates unproductive and unnecessary work, lengthens service intervals and reduces costs while improving the reliability of CAP systems.

The successful candidate will have a related Bachelor's degree, at least seven years of recent experience performing related functions, excellent team leadership qualities, and a valid driver’s license. Additionally, advanced knowledge of equipment failure modes including fatigue, overload, wear, corrosion, electronic and software faults are essential. Being skilled in guiding the development of procedures, maintenance task plans, operating procedures, and electrical equipment configuration and control procedures that minimize human error is also important.
