Molnlycke is looking for a reliable skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactiave maintenance and improvements for both the manufacturing facility and process equipment within. Working closely with the R&D department, manufacturing department and other Maintenance Techs, this position will setup, troubleshoot and improve existing production equipment. This position will work with machine designers to help fabricate custom machines and fixtures. When work cannot be performed internally, this position will coordinate with outside vendors and service providers for the project. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail as well as technical knowledge and experience. Organization is also critical in maintaining tools and spare parts inventories. This position requires manual dexterity and physical stamina. Molnlycke Wiscasset factory is a ISO 9001/ISO 13485 Quality System environment, experience in this type of environment preferred. Other Key Competencies: Ability to work with little supervision on the manufacturing floor Ability to initiate repairs and preventative maintenance Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions for basic maitenance of equipment and building within scope of position Ability to understand electrical trouble shooting to board level, Component level is a plus! Reading of logic/electrical schematics/mechanical drawings Knowledge of NFPA/NEC guidelines relating to electrical safety and safety practices Use of DVM and Oscilloscope to troubleshoot electrical systems Understanding of chemical dispensing systems and controls PLC programming preferred, Siemens/Allen Bradley preferred Strong communciation skills, both verbal and written Fluent in Microsoft Office Software Writing of procedures governing department practices relating to preventative maintenance such as safety, cleanliness, QA, Calibration etc. Experience with SCADA systems or otehr BMS controls preferred Experience with CMMS systems, IBM Maximo experience a plus! High level of equipment/process ownership Understanding calibration and the importance to support proper equipment maintenance Other duties including welding, fabrication, machining, plumbing, motor & pump alignment Qualifications: Hands on flexible attitude and good communication skills 2 year trade school with study in electromechanical equipment preferred, or equivalent experience preferred State of Maine High Pressure Boiler Operators License or ability to obtain HPB license within the first year of employment required Knowledge of, or interest in learning to work within GMP and ISO 9000/ISO 13485 quality assuance systems Familiar with ISO 14001/18001 in factory setting Robotic programming experience (PLC) preferred Experience converting equipment a plus Basic familiarity of chemical process equipment and chemical processes preferred Benefits: Molnlycke offers a complete beneft package including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disabiltiy Insurance, Life Insurance, Medical an Dependent care reimbursement accounts, 401(k) plan with company match, paid holidays, vacations, parental leave benefit and tuition loan assistance.
