REPORTS TO Director of Operations
SUMMARY
Assigned by Production Coordinator and/or Director of Operations, requires minimal instruction and moderate supervision to troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, mechanical, minor electrical, and hydraulic equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute work involving maintenance skills necessary to assemble, dismantle, replace, install, adjust, repair and otherwise maintain a variety of CNC machinery & equipment
- Think critically, analyze problems, effectively troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, inspect, test, install and maintain machinery, equipment and electrical systems
- Contribute to PM program and performs preventive/predictive maintenance to maintain up-time on all production related equipment
- Demonstrate initiative and independent judgment in the design and repair of equipment from drawings
- Maintain functional knowledge of OSHA Regulations and RCRA requirements as applied to a machine shop environment
- Support all safety, health and wellness practices, policies and procedures
- Contribute to a team environment by intently focusing on detail, internal processes and continuous improvement
- Contribute to own learning and development of the role and future growth opportunities
- Perform other job duties as required

- Practical shop mathematics
- Experience with CNC machines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues and/or with computer diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read service and repair manuals
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- One plus years of experience – maintenance/machine repair and/or vocational schooling
- Pass a background check and drug test
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections
- Stand and walk for long periods of time
- Lift, push, pull < 50 pounds
- Required to have fine motor hand dexterity
- Sight and visual perception needed
- Must be able to work safely in a busy, noisy environment with many odors present
