The Engineering Division of SPR is recruiting an Asset Manager or Asset Management Supervisor to lead the Asset Management Team in implementing the comprehensive Asset Management program at SPR.
Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate strategic planning and thinking, thrive in a team-based environment involving routine interactions with engineering, operations and maintenance staff, and are motivated by a dynamic and challenging work environment.
The primary duty of this position will be to lead the Asset Management team and oversee the implementation of comprehensive Asset Management Program at SPR. The Asset Management Program is optimized lifecycle management of physical assets to ensure data driven decisions are made to perform the right work in the right place, and to allocate funds where it is most needed and can have the largest impact.
Other duties will be assigned based on SPR needs and the successful candidate’s interest in a particular aspect of the Engineering division’s duties. Work is to be performed at the SPR facility in Englewood, CO.

The Asset Management Supervisor will lead a team and organize, coordinate, and supervise the work of others. The Asset Management Supervisor is under general guidance and direction of the Deputy Director of Engineering.

This includes project management, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and near/long term planning. The Asset Manager will lead a team and organize, coordinate, and supervise the work of others. The Asset Manager is responsible for directing all functions of the Asset Management team.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related field, plus related continuing education and training or knowledge of the engineering or business technical area of responsibility equivalent to that obtained through an advanced degree program.
Work Experience:
Asset Management Supervisor - Minimum six (6) to eight (8) years’ experience in asset or maintenance management with minimum one (1) year’s supervisory experience. Prefer experience with water and wastewater treatment facility asset management and project management.
Asset Manager - Minimum eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in asset or maintenance management with minimum two (2) years’ supervisory experience. Prefer experience with water and wastewater treatment facility asset management and project management.
Certifications and/or Licensures:
Required Driver’s License: Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clear or acceptable MVR.
An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant job experience may be substituted.
