Position: Facility Manager - Maintenance
Location: Wilson, NC
Job Type: On-Site (100%)
Reports to: Regional Manager
The Facility Manager is responsible for leading the team and systems of processes that support the overall equipment reliability strategy, and drives manufacturing to best-in-class safety and operational standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures that all safety guidelines at the site are adhered to in accordance with our safety program requirements
• Oversight of all Leadec operations at the site
• Comprehensive understanding of the Leadec Asset Management Roadmap
• Applies Asset Management processes and best practices to ensure reliability and maintainability of plant equipment
• Works with customer Maintenance, Engineering and Asset Management teams to define, develop, and monitor
• Value-added preventive maintenance tasks and PM optimization
• Effective utilization of condition-based methodologies to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems, and interpretation of predictive data:
o Proper operation and care of equipment/Total Productive Maintenance
o Comprehensive lubrication program
o Inspections, adjustments, replacements, overhauls of selected equipment
o Technical specification and standardization of maintenance tasks
• Coordinates with maintenance planning/scheduling to ensure maintenance tasks are performed when due
• Helps develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures utilizing Root Cause Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and other Reliability Modeling and Prediction
• Works with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production to perform analyses of assets including:
o Asset Utilization
o Overall Equipment Effectiveness
o Mean Time Between Failures
o Mean Time to Repair
• Provides technical support and problem-solving to maintenance and production
• Ensures accurate data and associated comments are entered into equipment availability and maintenance management systems
• Assists customer Maintenance and Engineering with spares management plan and critical spares analysis
• Assists customer Maintenance and Engineering with long-range maintenance planning and major spending
• Work safely at all time and drive safety prevention as a personal responsibility
• Maintain high ethical standards and an appropriate level of confidentiality
• Drive successful implementation of Leadec and Customer strategic initiatives
• Manages all required documentation reporting for both internal and customer needs
• Relationship management -- both internally within Leadec and externally between Leadec, Leadec's Customers and Leadec's business partners
• Manage KPI's for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment
• Develop & maintain process controls for the most efficient method of performing assigned Scope of Work (SOW) in the most cost-effective way, at a very high standard
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and determine a clear path of action with goals and metrics in all areas of responsibility
• All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite -- including Excel, Word, Power-point (or similar)
Position Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 7+ years of progressive management experience required
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required
• Previous project management experience preferred
• Lean management or equivalent experience preferred
• Occasional travel as required within the United States

• Required to talk and/or hear in an office and industrial setting where noise levels can vary greatly. Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4-12 The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment
• Work is performed in an office and industrial-manufacturing environment with significant time spent working on a computer or at a desk
